SINGAPORE: Singaporeans began feeling nostalgic after a netizen uploaded a photograph of an “outdated consolation taxi” to a web-based information discussion board. Many made a beeline for the feedback part to hitch in on reminiscing the “good outdated days.”
A netizen took to a web-based information discussion board on Monday (March 20) to share a photograph that has elicited a collective feeling of nostalgia amongst Singaporeans. Featured within the photograph was an outdated consolation taxi. Hate it or adore it, the blue car appears to have unlocked childhood reminiscences for a lot of Singaporeans.
“I can hear and scent this picture,” wrote one consumer. “Good outdated days when our roads had been dominated by the Crowns and these.”
Others shared tales of after they had been youngsters. “I keep in mind being a child sitting on my mum or grandma’s lap, and having to carry again the urge to play with the winding/crank deal with to wind down the window,” wrote one, “and all of the smells and sounds.
